Notable Burials
Several historical and contemporary interments are here at Oakland. The memorial park has a dedicated site for the British Flying Training School soldiers who lost thier lives during training exercises for WWII. Also, there are several men and women of Terrell who paid the ultimate sacrifice defending our great country and they are also laid to rest here. Additionally, the pioneers of Terrell are at rest alongside  many citizens, each of whom gave their tireless devotion, skills, and vision to building this city into what it is today.
